Payments With Respect To Products and Services
For products and services that are confirmed and booked well in advance under normal circumstances, the general requirement is that a 50 % advance payment shall have to be made to hold, secure and confirm the booking. Thereafter, the balance amount shall have to be paid before commencement of the tour or service. In the event that the nature and timing of such services is deemed extraordinary, for example the procurement of products and services at short notice, Starway Tours shall hold the right to decide on the advance payment amount that commensurate with the circumstance. However, In extreme cases very near to departure dates, and which require fast or immediate booking (to secure availability for train & plane journeys,  hotel or apartment bookings during high peak season),  full payment is required to be paid.
Payment Options
Payment can be made by Bank Transfer and Cash/Cheque payment to our office and bank account. However, all payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction. Bank charges for remittance, if any, shall be strictly borne by the payer.
Itinerary Status
All product or service itineraries that are formulated for the client shall be adhered to in normal circumstances. However, should there be any  unforeseen circumstances, beyond our control, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary for the safety and well-being of travellers. This will be done in a manner which is beneficial and necessary to the client.
Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure
In the event of any cancellation of a product or service, whether avoidable or unavoidable,  this shall have to be officially made in writing. The date of receipt of such official notification, whether by email or official company stamped letter, shall be the basis for computing the extent of cancellation charges. The tariffs for actual cancellation charges shall be made known once we issue the invoice for the booking of a tour or service.
Liabilities & Limitations
While all itineraries are intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule, numerous factors such as weather, road / traffic conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the service or during the running of the service. Hence and in this regard, we reserve the right to alter any itinerary in the interest of client’s , or his representatives  safety, comfort & general wellbeing.
Quotations made for products and services are based on current rates, fees, tariffs  and other costs.  If,  after the finalization of the product/service cost,  there are sudden  cost hikes in any of the quoted product or service beyond our control ( for example, new  Government legislation which has become enforced), the same would be charged as extra.
Similarly, products and services which are related to hotels, transport, tour guide service, meals and so on, are based on prevailing rates as negotiated by us with these service providers.  Should there be changes to such rates by our contracted providers, we retain the right to adjust the rates without notice, and any deficit shall be chargeable to the client.
We shall not be responsible nor liable for any delays or alterations in the itinerary programme or expenses incurred, either directly or indirectly, due to natural hazards, train cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any other untoward or unforeseen incidents which are beyond our absolute control.
In addition, we shall not be responsible and liable for any loss, injury or damage to persons, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting, either directly or indirectly, from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
Clients are advised to secure an appropriate insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
Health
Any person with a contagious disease is forbidden to travel. As such,  any person found during the tour with such a disease will be asked to leave the tour and will have to make their own arrangements to return home.
